Investment Control

Both our SSAS and SIPP products allow you to select and control your own investments, or appoint an Investment Manager, or a combination of these. We will undertake the investment administration on your behalf and the following investments can be held within either product:-

• Quoted shares, including preference shares, debentures and other fixed interest securities traded on a recognised stock exchange;
• Shares in unquoted limited companies (at the discretion of Westerby Trustee Services Ltd);
• Commercial Property;
• Residential Property Collective Investment Schemes;
• OEICS, Unit Trusts and Investment Trusts;
• Insurance company managed funds;
• Loans to third parties;
• Loans to the employer (SSAS only);
• Cash Deposits in any major currency.

You can personally enter into transactions with your own pension fund or alternatively purchase assets jointly in conjunction with other self invested pension arrangements, individuals or corporate bodies. It is also possible to change your investments at any time to suit your personal needs.
