After a successful career in Design Engineering, Les McLintic became a financial adviser in 1978, as shareholder and director of a financial services firm. When the firm was acquired by The Commercial Union in 1987, Les established Westerby Investment Management Limited. In 1996, he established Westerby Trustees Limited, to provide specialist trusteeship and administration services.
A quarter of a century later, Les is Chairman of the well established Westerby Group, which provides high quality financial solutions for both corporate and private clients.

Steve has been an independent financial adviser since 1981 and provides specialist advice for family businesses, entrepreneurs, private clients and high net worth individuals.
Sales and marketing director of Pointon York until 1999, he helped launch one of the first SIPPS in 1990, spending six years as a committee member of the original SIPP providers group, Association of Pensioneer Trustees, (AMPS) www.ampsonline.co.uk. Steve then moved to RSM Tenon and after thirteen years, joined Westerby Group in May 2012. Steve advises Westerby’s clients across the UK and works with third party introducers in financial planning, retirement strategies, investment advice and employee benefit arrangements.

In 2013 Louise joined Mattioli Woods plc where she was a Property Syndicate Accountant for the subsidiary company Custodian Capital Limited, a property investment and management business. Louise then moved to Embark Services Limited in 2015 as a Trustee Accountant gaining a widespread level of experience within a pension provider.
She joined the Westerby Group in 2017 as Financial Controller overseeing all of the financial transactions of the group.

In 2011, Zachary was elected to the Committee of the Association of Member-Directed Pension Schemes (AMPS). He served seven years on the AMPS Committee, including three years as Honorary Secretary and two years as Chairman. During that time he served as AMPS representative on the Pension Scams Industry Group (PSIG) and was a co-author of the first edition of PSIG’s Code of Good Practice on Combating Pension Scams.
Zachary joined Westerby The Pension Specialist in 2021 as a Technical Consultant, continuing to specialise in SSAS and SIPP.
Zachary enjoys meeting clients and fellow pensions professionals. His work over the years has included attendance at many SSAS trustees’ meetings, and technical discussions with representatives of bodies such as HM Revenue & Customs, Financial Conduct Authority and The Pensions Regulator. He has also spoken at a number of industry conferences.

With over eight years of pension administration experience Fran joined Westerby The Pension Specialist in 2007 as a Senior Pension Administrator. As Head of Pensions Administration, Fran is responsible for the oversight of the SIPP administration teams. Amongst her various responsibilities Fran oversees recruitment, training and the implementation legislation changes.

Jenna joined Westerby The Pension Specialist Limited in 2010 as a Trainee Pensions Administrator, working on the administration of SIPPs. In 2014, she become a Senior Pensions Administrator, and later that year she took on a large portfolio of SSAS schemes to administer alongside the SIPP portfolio. By 2016 Jenna was promoted to Client Team Manager, managing a team of five SIPP/ SSAS Administrators.
In 2020, Jenna moved in to the role of Training & Development Manager, where she managed her team of SIPP/ SSAS Administrators and undertook the one to one training for all SIPP & SSAS new starters.
Finally in September 2023, Jenna moved up to her current position of Pension Manager, overseeing the Client Team Managers and their teams of SIPP and SSAS Administrators. As well as this Jenna is still involved in the training of any SIPP/SSAS new starters and is highly involved in testing and implementing new systems and processes within the company.

David began his career in Financial Services in 1989 joining Westerby Investment Management Limited in 2003 processing mortgages for one of their mortgage consultants. In 2005 David was seconded to Westerby Trustee Services Limited to manage and wind up their Final Salary schemes, returning to Westerby Investment Management Limited in 2007, dealing with Endowment complaints and then subsequently providing Adviser Support for the Consultants. David transferred back to Westerby Trustee Services Limited in 2015 as a Senior Pensions Administrator administering a portfolio of SIPPs. David is a Client Team Manager heading up one of our SIPP Administration Teams

Harjit began her career in financial services in 1998 with Alliance & Leicester (now Santander). From 1999 to 2010, she worked as a Senior Mortgage Administrator for Independent Financial Advisers in Leicestershire. In 2011, Harjit joined Pointon York as Sales Support within the Business Development Team. Harjit joined Westerby The Pension Specialist, in 2012 as a Senior Business Liaison and then as Onboarding & Investments Team Manager. In this role, she managed our onboarding team, who are the first point of contact through the transition period for new pension applications, including scheme establishment, executing transfers and initial contributions. Now as a Relationship Manager, Harjit aids in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships by seeking out new business opportunities and promoting our bespoke products and services to fit our client’s needs best: whether working directly with a client or with a regulated Financial Adviser.

Jenny started her career in 2007 in Customer Services where she held several roles in different industries managing client relationships. In 2012 she entered the Financial Services Sector, specifically within the relationship management/Investment arm of HSBC where she developed and managed client relations. During this time Jenny became involved in investment risk, risk management and various other projects.
In 2017, Jenny joined Westerby The Pension Specialist as a Senior Business Liaison, and then Onboarding & Investments Team Manager as the first point of contact regarding new and existing investment due diligence, and the ongoing management of ‘At Risk’ investments.
As of January 2023 Jenny acts as Compliance Officer, overseeing compliance across the group alongside the Senior Compliance Officer.
